I am a licensed mental health counselor who has been practicing for 20 years. During those 20 years, I had the pleasure of working with individuals and families going through all kinds of challenges in their lives. I believe that we are going to experience hardships in life but we will get through them. After certain challenges, we don’t go back to being “normal.” That is where we learn to adapt, and depending on the outlook we have on our new “normal,” we can still have a good life.
I am here to guide you in developing coping skills to deal with the emotions you are experiencing due to the challenge you are facing. We will work together to tap into your inner strengths and build on them to empower you.
I am certified in cognitive behavioral therapy but believe in using a blend of therapies to meet the needs of my clients. Sometimes you just need a little help through a tough but brief period of time, yet you may also need ongoing support long-term.
